Update 6/18/26

Hello, friends! It's been a while.

This site is currently hibernating as I rework some things and get my mind set on the specific direction that I want to take it in.

I graduated back in May! But as you probably imagine, university took a lot out of me. I expended a ton of creative energy for class projects, which didn't leave me with a lot of energy to work on personal projects like this site. As I'm writing this, I'm still in recovery mode. I've been doing some smaller things (like doodling), but I'm not in the proper headspace to do tons of site work again just yet... coding's a whole other beast, and I find that it takes a different type of motivation than my usual creative outlet of just drawing.

A proper update (and another layout revamp) will come eventually. Some day, maybe soon, maybe in a while. Hopefully in a few months at the latest, but I don't have a strict time frame in mind. I want to treat this as a fun thing and not just an assignment or obligation that I have to meet a deadline for, because that's what it's supposed to be! And unfortunately pressuring myself to get things up on a timely basis tanks my motivation when things don't go as smoothly as I wanted them to. I have a habit of biting off more than I can chew when it comes to working on this site, so I'm going to try and pace myself a bit more (and try my darndest to take one step at a time).
