What are you into?

I'm an artist! I mainly make digital art, but I'll also mess around with traditional mediums like watercolor and good ol' paper and pencil if I'm feeling up to it. I mainly make fanart for my interests, but sometimes I'll make original things, too. I'm also currently studying graphic design at my university. If it ends up falling through, I'll probably go into illustration or work freelance.

Video games are my special interest if you couldn't already tell! The very first console I played on was the Nintendo 64, and the first game I remember playing was Diddy Kong Racing. I grew up with Nintendo consoles and PC games — The Wii is the one I have the fondest memories of 'cause of all the time I spent on it as a kid. Nowadays, I mainly play indie games, along with stuff that was released on older consoles. I think video games are an incredibly cool form of media because of the interactivity, plus all of the creative work that goes into them. I've always wanted to make a game of my own, so I've been trying to figure out how to use RPGmaker. I haven't really properly made anything with it yet, but I'm excited to eventually be able to start on a real project!

Why Neocities?

I started working on this Neocities because I've wanted to learn coding and make a personal site for a long time (and I mean a long time... I think I was in kindergarten when my cousin showed me that you could make your own websites on the internet?). Before Neocities, I've only "made websites" for school projects using basic website builder tools, and I had never tried programming anything from the ground up. Starting to learn HTML and CSS was tough, but I'm a lot better at it now compared to when I first began. I'm really happy with the progress I've made, and I hope you like it too :)
