Happy New Year! Going to start dating entries from now on. Currently getting the new site update in order (by the time you're reading this, it's probably already up) and I'm pretty excited to see where things are gonna go this year.
I've also finally made a gallery page layout that I'm happy with!!! You might know that I've been sitting on this since... maybe early 2023? Around the start of when I started going serious with coding the site. Spoiler: I just lifted a lot of the code from the homepage's featured slideshow (which was already modified from a W3schools example) and frankensteined it together with another W3schools example slideshow code. This is probably the way things are gonna go until I start properly teaching myself JS, which I want to happen at least by this summer.
I managed to luck out and get a seemingly decent schedule for this upcoming spring, so I'm crossing my fingers that I'll have a decent amount of time for this website (and taking a stab at learning JS as I mentioned) and my personal art, too. I'm gonna have a capstone project coming up in the fall which I'm a little nervous about since I haven't really been thinking about what direction I might go in for it, but that's gonna be what this semester's for :P Just another year after this one and I'm officially out of college hoo boy

Finished filling up my current sketchbook! I was originally just using it for thumbnailing school projects, but it filled up a lot faster after I started using it for non-school related sketches too. I've been trying to make it a habit to actually use my sketchbooks and not just let them lie around, because when I was younger I would always buy new sketchbooks, but then worry about wasting the pages and barely use them. This Tumblr post by punkitt-is-here has really stuck with me haha
Watched the Mothra film from 1961 with one of my friends today! Lately I've been pretty interested in getting into the classic monster/sci-fi/kaiju movies, so I'm going to find time to watch more over the course of this month. I've only ever seen two Godzilla films, which were Shin Godzilla and Minus One (both of which I've really enjoyed)

Been getting a lot of snow lately, so I've been staying in and drinking a lot of tea.
Currently watching Squid Game season 2, and I've actually been enjoying it more than I originally expected I would.

Sick again and fell behind on an assignment that's due Monday T_T I'm hoping I can get it done in time over the weekend though
I also fell off a bit on site work for the past couple weeks, but I'm gonna try to shoot for having the revamped about page up this month. I've also been working on a new layout for the splash page. Pretty excited to get these done and uploaded :)
